Going to a travel agent to get their advice reminds me of going to the doctor nowadays: you can’t trust what they say because they are just trying to sell you what is best for them. Sad but true.
Yes, it’s really different now. Just one click away and you have a ticket for your vacation outside the country. It’s easier and cheaper to purchase via internet because it’s convenient. You don’t need to go to the store to buy or check for the schedule, you don’t need to go to the airlines to check the availability of tickets, you don’t need to load gas on your car to travel to the travel agency. It’s easier, and it saves time. Yes, it’s convenient and we must choose this kind of action but we must be observant because not all the advertised packages are true. Maybe you should search for the details the company’s background and call them for confirmation. That’s the right thing to do to make sure you’ll have a great vacation.

The internet has made a big change in the travel industry. Not only can we find information about different travel destinations but we can also book for hotels or airlines at a cheaper price. But the best trend today are the packaged tours offered in dealsites which can really give us a lot of savings. 🙂

Spot on! And not only is technology changing the way we plan and travel, it’s making it much easier. I was pretty reluctant even to get a GPS for the car – I thought there was something nice about pulling out the old paper map and unfolding it.
