What’s your favorite gadget of 2011? Let us know in the comments.
1. MacBook Air
It is one of the best computers I ever used. It is one of the only tiny computer that doesn’t feel compromised in any sense. It is lightning fast and considerably lighter than its competitor. The new MacBook Air is equipped with Intel core i5 or i7 processor, which makes it 2.5 times faster than its predecessor. Equipped with backlit keyboard buttons for comfortable typing experience and innovative thunderbolt technology which allows you faster data transfer from its single port.

If you have a HD LCD or LED TV for your enhanced viewing experience, then you could exploit the full potential of your television by watching your favorite flicks in amazing life like quality. This player allows you to watch your favorite movies in full HD i.e. 1080p resolution with crystal clear sound quality. With prices going down significantly its one of the best buy.
3. Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Samsung Galaxy Nexus was one of the most awaited smartphones from Samsung. Riding on the repo of the android OS, this featured the latest android version “Ice Cream Sandwich”. It features a 4.65 inches super AMOLED screen and a 1.23 GHz dual core processor. It has a 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash and a 1.3 mega pixel front camera for video calling. These top 5 gadgets for 2011 is actually the gadgets that are utilized at this point of time. I am sure a lot of people who will be seeing this will be agreeing with the article that you have here. I also like the macbook that you have here.
Thanks for the comment Liane.
Nice list but i agree that the galaxy is number 1 to tell you the truth, it did well last year and it is still competing with iphone.
Competition is always good for us, the consumers 🙂 Thanks for commenting Chris.
That is okay Peter. I know that people who will be seeing your post will also feel the same way and they can also share you some of their most favorite gadgets this year.
The best is Samsung Galaxy Nexus. its nice. I am loving it.
Yes Mark it’s my favorite other than the iPhone. Thanks for the comment.
A really interesting set of gadgets there Peter!
You say the MacBook wins on functionality, but if you went on value for money, would it still come out on top?
Yeah quite likely so Christopher. Personally I think the MacBook Air is worth every penny of it and as mentioned in the post, is one of the best I’ve ever used. Thanks for the comment 🙂
Hi Peter,
I only have the Macbook Air and Sony Blu-Ray player. I have a Samsung Galaxy SII instead of Nexus. I find it more suitable for me since i’m very conscious with the design.
I am not even sure how long Blu Ray has been around for now and I still haven’t tried one out yet. All these gadgets and gizmos are difficult to keep up with these days. Always something new, faster, or better. We have come along way since I thought my old Atari was cool when I was a kid.
Thanks for reminding me of that name (Atari), seems like we’re from the same generation Ray. I had an Atari when I was a kid too 🙂
Non of above I have. By the way, how come Android tablet/iPad not even in the top 5? I am thinking to get either Android tablet or iPad, but I prefer Android tablet as it more flexible.
Tan,
If I included those in the list, the title would become My Favorite 6 or 7 which I didn’t want. Many bloggers had already written about the iPad, that’s why I skipped the iPad and also the iPhone. Thanks for the comment.
My fav in this list is MacBook Air, Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Kindle Fire, however I have not been that lucky to get a chance to use them but I really liked them..!! 🙂
Hope you’ll be able to use all of them in 2012. Thanks for the comment Saket 🙂
I think thoughs gadgets where differnetly the top ones for 2011. Wonder what in store for this year.
Great list Peter. I especially like the Sonos Play 5. Sonos recently came out with the Play 3, which is a smaller version of the Play 5. I have both speakers and they work great. If you are interested in how to implement a full Sonos system, then checkout my http:\\www.sonos-review.com
