Personal Fitness Games
When you want to workout on your own, there are plenty of Kinect fitness games to choose from. Games such as “Zumba Fitness” and “Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012” allow you to workout at your own pace. Certain personal fitness games such as “The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout” allow you to create your own fitness routine, as well as keep track of the amount of calories you consume a day. Many of the personal fitness games offered also allow you to choose from different difficulty and skill levels. For example, if you are just beginning the game, you may want to start at a beginner’s level to learn the techniques associated with the game. Once you grow more comfortable with the game and build your workout endurance, you can easily change to a higher level workout.

How about that for a workout? Could this be your solution to getting fit? Tell us in the comments.
I played on the Kinect at my mates house. Kinect Sports is very similar to Wii Sports I found. Except for the fact you don’t need to hold a controller. Both had me sweating!
I love this new way of working out. I have a Wii but I would really love to have the Kinect as it seems to have more games for fitness. I get more motivation by it seeming more like fun than any other exercise. Also good for the kids to stay active as well. Gotta get me one of these!
I play this at least once a week. It’s really fun!
Hi,
Awesome blog! Thanks for sharing! I just learned another new way to stay fit! 🙂
Well, I always go to Yoga Exercises and join my kids on playing Just Dance 4! We always have fun and I also lose weight! A really great way to stay fit not just to your body but to your children also.

That’s whats great with technology now a days.
It offers people creative methods to get back in shape.
I like the idea of having games that are both fun and physically challenging. It helps keep the youth and, busy bodies, healthy.
But in my opinion, nothing beats the age old practice of “playing outside”. Either way, if you can incorporate exercise (in whatever form) you’ll be better off then most people.
Just keep it up and have fun with it!
I used to play these fitness games but I found them less challenging after a while. I got bored and yeah you’re right, nothing beats working out outside. Thanks for stopping by, Sereyvorn!
I think Kinect is probably gonna be the future of console gaming world. I know there is Nintendo Wii with its movement-supported remote, but Kinect is different given that it is a sensor that enables users to interact with the KInect-armed device and be active in the fun way. With more and more Kinect-supported games coming to the current and next-gen Xbox One this December/November, i think many gamers can definitely get many uses from this awesome device. I also heard Ubisoft will release a Kinect-supported game called Fighter Within for Xbox One. I think it’s gonna be worth checking out.
We’ve really come a long way in fitness games. Does anyone remember playing the Olympics game on Nintendo with the pad you put on the floor? It wasn’t long before we figured out it was easier to just get on your knees and pound on the pad with our hands though…
