I haven’t used youtube much. but thinking to use it more to get few amount of traffic from there too. Your tips can surely a great help.
I think funny humor videos on YouTube usually do well. After all everyone needs a laugh every now and then. I am not so sure if I would want to be famous for being goofy on YouTube, but I am sure there are some people that are all for it.

You should determine if your talent has traction. Meaning, get feedback from people and comments first. Improve your talent based on their feedback. To get feedback open a facebook page and invite your friends to like it and ask for feedback.
